5 Stars The BEST ipod/phone car mount!
The Kensington Car mount for iPod, cell phones etc is very well made of rugged hard plastic and the suction cup mounts on the windshield very easily and stays there even on the roughest roads and with the harshest of climates. As someone else said, it holds the phone better when it’s in a case. I love how it rotates and the rigid arm bends any way you want it. Definitely a well made product and worth the price.

I bought this product after using a cheap one, which broke in just three days of use…. This one Is made with good material… hard plastic…. Best thing I bought for my itouch…. worth the 30$(with shipping)**** for those with the 2G itouch the volume controls will be blocked with the side things that hold teh ipod… buttt for me isn’t a big deal….
5 Stars Fabulous product
I use an iPhone 3G. This product works PERFECTLY with my iPhone suctioned to the inside front windshield of my Honda CR-V. The iPhone says very secure, it is easily positioned for optimal viewing and the suction device is a breeze to place on/off of the windshield. I put it into my glove compartment when I’m not using it. Besides the iPhone, this is one of the best purchases I’ve made in a long time.

The concept and design are pretty good. It holds an iPhone very well without having to remove it from its case, which is a problem with a lot of other mounts out there. My biggest issue is that it wasn’t up to Arizona weather. On the second day I used it, the rubberized coating around the arm split and peeled away when I left it mounted on a sunny afternoon. It still works very well with the bare metal arm, but cosmetically it’s a little iffy. For the price it’s not really worth dealing with a return, so I’ll probably just spray some paint on it and be done with it. Other than that, it’s a little large and not terribly adjustable, but that’s the trade-off you have to deal with to make it secure.

I have an Ipod classic 80g with a leather case and attached this mount to my windshield in my 2004 tacoma. The sucktion cup is really strong and the tube is awesome! Its just a smooth black thing that can bend anyway. The button is great, it releases the latching sides. I have to plug my ipod into the aux port in the back of my head unit, so it kinda pulls on the side, which pulls the mount a little sideways. Not a big deal but its kinda annoying. I can probably fix it with some tweaking. But this thing is the shiznit. Now i wanna watch videos while i drive. This one seems like the best one on the market in my opinion.
